Sarita obtained her Bachelor of Art from Iowa State University and her Master of Science in Education from Purdue University. She had obtained her Ed.S and is currently pursuing her doctorate from Indiana State University. She holds several educational licenses: Teaching, School Administration, Career and Technical Education Director, Superintendent. She is a proficient school administrator with several years’ experience at the school and district leadership levels. Her expertise is in public relations, curriculum and instruction, federal programs, professional development, strategic planning, and business/community partnership development. Sarita is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services for the Elkhart Community Schools. She is responsible for facilitating these Social Emotional Learning programs, Trauma-Informed Care and Equity efforts, and Parent Engagement.
