Participants will know how to “see” differently, move past implicit bias, and make change happen.


Using an interactive format, the Intercultural Development Continuum, and historians’ tools, we will explore historical images to uncover unconscious bias in today's workplaces. Our goals are to learn about real, intersectional U.S. history (ordinary people!), how they made history, and how we can make significant changes in our workplaces and communities too. Participants leave with the handout “How to Read an Image” so that they can continue to “see” differently, move past implicit bias, and make change happen.
